Our tail extensions are manufactured in our shop in Blue Grass, Iowa. Since each tail extension is built individually, you know you are getting the very best in quality and craftsmanship, tailored to fit the needs of your horse. We pride ourselves on prompt attention to your order - our products are in-stock and ready for immediate delivery, so the average turn-around time between the placement and shipment of your order is 2-3 business days. We can also ship your order for overnight delivery.

Custom Tails are very strong, and 100% horse hair. With our construction procedure, we have eliminated the bulk at the top of the tail extension for a very streamline look. Our standard tail extensions are furnished with braided horse hair ties, braided horse hair loops or tube end attachments. We also offer rendered tails, Natural Look tail extensions, and weighted tail extensions. Our tail extensions are available in ½ pound increments - from ½ pound all the way up to 2 pounds - and range in length from 30 inches to 43 inches, with additional lengths available through special order. Our tail extensions are available with blunt or tapered end bottoms for the look that best fits your horse. Custom Tails are legal with all breed associations that allow tail extensions.
